ABOUT DR. DONALD VOELKER, MD
Dr. Donald J. Voelker, MD specializes in the medical and interventional treatment of Cardiovascular and Peripheral Vascular Artery Disease. Dr. Voelker is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology. He completed his post-doctoral Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri.Dr. Voelker has over 35 years of experience in the field of medicine.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, a Founding Member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and a long-standing member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Voelker is passionate about the prevention of heart disease and Stroke because he sees the ravages of the disease in his patient’s arteries daily.
He wrote a “Healthy Hearts for Life Eating Plan” that he dubbed his “Save your Life” eating plan. Dr. Voelker is extensively published and is a frequent invited faculty lecturer at national and international medical conferences. He is affiliated with the Medical Center of South Arkansas and the Ouachita County Medical Center.
